The METAZA MPX-90M prints "DataMatrix" barcodes on medical instruments such as scalpels, tweezers, forceps and other surgical equipment. The impact printer "hammers" the UDI (Unique Device Identication) barcodes on the instruments, so that they remain permanently traceable.
The MPX-90M uses a stylus with a durable diamond tip to quickly and accurately make inscriptions on titanium, stainless steel and other hard metals. It "hammers" little dots within a minimum area of 1 mm², without releasing dust. Moreover, the MPX-90M does not change any properties of the metal of which the medical instrument is made. The inscription therefore does not rust.
You need no special training to operate the MPX-90M. The device comes with an easy-to-use computer program that automatically converts your numerical data to 2D "DataMatrix" barcodes that conform to GS1 and other formats. You can then clamp medical instruments in place while the laser determines the centre of the operating range. Accurate printing of your code is therefore ensured. The MPX-90M is an ideal device for office environments thanks to its ease of use, compact design, and high energy efficiency. The device also requires very little maintenance.
The METAZAStudio software provided has a special barcode feature. Click on the barcode icon and enter the UDI numbers to create a unique barcode. The software does the rest and creates a 2D DataMatrix barcode that you can print with your MPX-90M. You can also upload CSV files to print variable data. You can therefore assign a unique barcode to a series of instruments. The software also supports jpg, bmp and Adobe Illustrator files. It is therefore possible to import logos and other branding elements.
