The EGX-20 is our smallest engraving machine. The working range is 220 by 170 mm. In spite of these compact dimensions, it is a highly user-friendly device that consistently delivers great results. You can use the EGX-20 to engrave trophies, product plates and small nameplates.
The EGX-20 is all about ease of use. You can quickly select various parameters with a joystick and a few keys, which makes the device well suited for less experienced users. Moreover, the joystick can manually control the X, Y and Z axes.
The ‘Active Surface Tracking’ technology system prevents scratches on the material and ensures a constant engraving depth. This is particularly important for work pieces that are curved or not totally flat.
The EGX-20 has a spindle that can make up to 15000 rotations/min. A variety of common material types, such as acrylic, PVC, ABS, polycarbonate, plaster and wood can therefore be processed. An optional diamond-tipped engraving stylus can also make inscriptions on aluminium and brass plates. All you need to do is to specify what material you intend to use in the software provided. The EGX-20 will then automatically select the appropriate speed and the ideal tool paths.
You can use the EGX-20 along with the design software R-Wear Studio. This allows you to easily engrave templates for rhinestones. These templates and stones can be used to decorate or personalise T-shirts, jeans and gifts.
